Keffas was born in 1946. He attended Primary School from 1958 to 1964 and later attended Waka Teachers College Grade 2 from 1965 to 1969. He taught as a Teacher/Headmaster from 1970 to 1976, and joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1977. He had a one year training as Cadet Inspector in 1977 at the Police College in Ikeja, Lagos.

He was posted to Sokoto State and rose through the ranks up to Commissioner of Police in 2005. He served in many States and retired in 2009, meritoriously. He joined Nigerian Politics from 2010 to 2013 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and contested for House of Representatives, but unfortunately lost the election. He joined our firm in 2014.
