ONYEKWERE DARLINGTON
ACIArb. (UK)Darlington is the Head of Dispute Resolution at JK Gadzama LLP. He graduated from the prestigious Universy of Jos in 2012 and was admitted to the NigerianBar in 2013.
He is a seasoned dispute resolution expert who has been in active legal practice and regularly appears before ral and appellate Courts, as well as Arbitral Tribunals and Election Petition Tribunals cross the Country.
He demonstrates competence inthe area of dispute resolution, particularly n the aspect of arbitration, commercial ligation, criminal law, election petitions, labour related matters and disputes arising from banking and finance, oil and gas, real estate etc.
He has success ull participated, and in some cases led, in the handling of many high profile cases, complex legal transactions and arbitral proceedings for a wide spectrum of domestic and foreign clients. He currently serves as Company Secretary for a number of Nigerian Companies and was nominated as a finalist or the “40 under 40"category ofthe 2019 Nigerian legal awards.
In March 2021, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR appointed him as a member of the 2021 Presidertial Visitation Panel to Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi. He has attended many conferences and professional trainings in and outside the Country.
