Samira holds an LL.B (first class honors) from Baze University, Abuja where she was awarded the Best Graduating Student in 2016.
She also holds an LL.M (with Distinction) from Durham University, United Kingdom where she won the LL.M prize fir the best overall mark on the General LL.M stream, including marks for taught modules and the LL.M dissertation.
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2018. She is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
Samira has written extensively on contemporary debates like the corporate purpose debate, role of stabilization clauses in oil & gas contract and the copyright & BREXIT dilemma. Her areas of interest are corporate governance, commercial fraud, oil & gas law and energy law.
